Week 3

This week we learned about fair use for educators and copyright guidelines. I never knew there were so many little details and rules about using different pictures, songs, videos, etc. It was interesting listening to the tutorials on fair use and skimming through the Scenario Copyright Checklist. This is good material to learn about and be aware of because it relates to me as a future teacher completely. I plan to use different aspects of technology in my classroom and I will need to follow the copyright laws and fair use guidelines. We also learned about TPCK, also known as Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge. Technology (TK), Pedagogy (PK), and Content (CK) are all inter-related.
