Google Earth Virtual Tour

For this assignment we created virtual tours using Google Earth. My tour deals with visitng government sites and historic markers around Washington D.C., including the Libery Bell, Washington Monument, and White House. I created this using the 5th grade social studies standard. The students can visit the different locations and follow links to information pages and answer questions. I think this will be useful in the classroom because it can take you to a place that you cannot physically travel. It's fun and I think kids will respond well to it.
